Last Wednesday evening, lets just say, it was an experience that took my senses to another stratosphere.

The Ritz Carlton, formerly One Bal Harbour, has arrived! With a tweak, a nip, a tuck and the ‘Ritz touch’ ~ my senses were captivated. The old has become the new, warm, contemporary and yet traditional, perfect ‘setting’ for the evening, which included Champagne in Christofle stemware, dinner at Bistro Bal Harbour, and a refreshing splash of Etiquette, ala Justin Trabert. Trabert is the expert in the etiquette department, and created a refined yet educational experience for twenty of Miami’s tastemakers.

Hosted by Kalla and Christofle, we learned about how to execute the perfect dinner party, starting with the Guest list, which is said to be most important! The experience was purely educational, beginning with curating your guests seating arrangements, and we even learned how to set the perfect table. We supped on a majorly gourmet meal with etched silver by Christofle’s collaboration with Marcel Wanders called Jardin D’ Eden. As we conversed with our neighbors, we stared at the magnificent centerpieces that included Kalla floral arrangements set in Christofle Ice Buckets and Christofle Sculptural Contemporary Candles.

From the menu to the guest list to the service ~ and a large dose of etiquette, the evening was aesthetically intoxicating. I was excited and ready to start the Holiday Season in fifth gear!  GIFT GIVING and ENTERTAINING HAS RISEN TO NEW HEIGHTS!
