MsErinsita Says Halloween is ‘BOO’-ring, but if You’re a Fan, Here’s THE Guide
Personally, Halloween isn’t my thing. I like to say it is my day off from dressing up every other day of the year. While you will be getting your inner fantasy on in public, ill be in Palm Beach lounging at the Breakers in Lilly Pulitzer. However, that does not mean that I can’t share my favorite event that I promote, year after year.
Credible sources share that a Nightmare on the Beach 2014 Halloween Party benefiting the Little Lighthouse Foundation, which takes place on October 31, 2014 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., is one of the best events in town. You should know that this year, NOTB is taking place at Lummus Park on Ocean Drive and 9th Street. With an open bar all night, party on to music from DJ Lee Kalt and as always, expect an amazing production!
Buy your tickets and check out the video from last year at: www.nightmareonthebeach.com and for more information, contact [email protected] or call him at 305.417.8553.
Other options of ‘spooky’ festivities …
Thursday
Kick off the festivities on Thursday October 30, at After Sunset @ The Setai from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Miami’s most imaginative bartender, Philip Khandehrish, is teaming up with Meat Market’s renowned mixologist Ezra Pattek. Both will be mixing and shakin’ with Ancho Reyes, an Ancho pepper flavored liquor to bring guests Halloween-themed cocktails. Expect lots of dry ice and a pumpkin punch bowl!
Friday
SHIKANY in Wynwood will be serving a special “bones menu”, where each dish will contain some sort of protein that will be bone in. The one night only menu will include dishes such as, Suckling Pig Head “10 Ways”; Citrus Soy Brazil Pacu Ribs with cheddar Jack mac, mandarin fennel salad; Scottish Wood Pigeon with chicken heart pumpkin risotto, saffron crème, candied basil.
Join the freak show at 1826 Restaurant & Lounge from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. and dance the night away with live performances and music by DJ Danny Stern, carnival-inspired dishes and Double Cross Vodka open bar packages.
For guests in the Gables area, Bulla Gastrobar will be celebrating the evening with an all-night happy hour (5 p.m. – midnight) where guests can enjoy half-priced house wine, beer and liquor. Patrons who wear their most outrageous, scary, funny or creative costume will have a chance to win “Boo-lla’s” costume contest. The restaurant will be taking pictures of the best costumes all night and the winners will be posted on their Facebook page on Saturday.
Get wild at the Playboy Halloween Masquerade Party at Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach this year. This year the party will be bigger and better than last year! Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most outrageous Halloween outfits and be prepared to experience a night of sexy surprises. The event will be hosted by Playboy Playmates Shawn Dillon and Shelby Chesnes, with sounds by DJ Mister Gray (@DJMisterGray) on Friday October 31, 2014 at 10:00 PM.
