What Not-To-Wear to the Coconut Grove Saturday Farmers Market

A few months ago, my girlfriend Brittany Lopez Slater became my hero. She and I rendezvoused in Coconut Grove at a market off of Grand Avenue. My life will never be the same.

When you think of me, le picky eater, I want you to understand two major components to my life:

  • Will drive for food
  • I love clean eating, so much so, that I cut gluten from my diet.

This past weekend, with two of my fellow blogger’s in tow, Maria Tettamanti, Ginger Harris and I schlepped to the Grove for their weekly Farmer’s market, that occurs every Saturday. It is a heaven for fresh juices, nut milks, nut shakes (Cashew Vanilla is my favorite, SO perfectly thick), organic fruits, vegetables, honeys, oils, spices and prepared vegan foods. There are also local businesses that set up shop, selling their wares, like lavender creams, sauerkraut, woven bags, and even services like massages.

The only tip I offer you is go casual. Don’t do the ‘Ginger Harris – ElectricBlogarella’ and wear heels, because the gravel is not conducive to comfort, balance or fashion!

The Glaser Farms Market is held every Saturday, rain or shine, from 10 am to 7 pm at: 3300 Grand Avenue
Coconut Grove, FL 33133
