You must be wondering where this compliment was thrown my way. Well, tonight I was invited to one of the most exclusive events in Miami. Surprised? I actually was.

I received an invitation from Pablo De Ritis, addressed to Milan Vukmirovic and myself. It was a private dinner at Casa Claridge. I did not know what to expect, nor what to wear, but I knew anything Faena would not disappoint.

You likely have never heard of C-squared before, but brace yourself, because this is bound to be one of the hottest, yet most demure spots in Miami.

Casa Claridge is a historic hotel on the intercostal, located at 35^th and Collins. Claridge is part of the incredible Faena arts community.

Tonight, Alan Faena and Ximena Caminos offered Miami’s elite the opportunity to experience what was once a fantasy, and has now become a small part of the huge reality that is expected to be this city’s biggest cultural, luxurious community, and will include a hotel, retail, apartments and a performing arts center. Some of the worlds top architects were behind this project, like Rem Koolhaas and Foster + Partners. Envision 1920’s Cuba brought to our doorstep!

The ambiance was just wow….and the guests were even more wow, and included Lara Shriftman, Dori Cooperman, Criselda Breene, Martina Borgomanero, Oren Alexander, Lauren Fitzpatrick, Jackie Soffer, Lolo Sudarsky, Maacha Le Blanc, Ximena and Tony Cho, Typoe, Anastasia and Ahmad Koutsioukis, Julie Fogel, Claire Breukel, Sam Robin, Iran Issa Khan, Barbara Becker, Kathryn and Dan Mikesell and Miki Grendene.

All of the faboosh guests enjoyed live music in the magical courtyard, and conversed over their individual obsessions of this tres chic petite extravaganza.
