One of the perks of being involved in the Miami social scene, is all of these ladies lunches! Thank the lord for my abundance of clothing and the versatile wardrobe that allows me to not only act the part (au natural), but look it.
This past week, I had a few functions to attend, and here is what I wore while not only working, but working it.
Vhernier Grand Opening
In Palm Court, the jewelry heaven of the Design District, is one of my truly favorite jewelry shops in the world. I learned about the brand when in Rome at 26 years old. While on the way home from Dinner at the Hotel Russie, I saw gold. I saw diamonds. I saw craftsmanship and I saw exclusive. I walked in, tried on a bracelet and ring. I said to myself: OMG. I walked out. I called my mom to ask her about the brand. Mother educated me. To this day, I wish I said ‘yes.’
What I Wore: For the Grand Opening, I decided to go androgynous chic. I paired my Carven Paris oversized green collared shirt with my Current Elliott ripped jeans from the Fontainebleau Shops (Ida and Harry). I wore this with my Celine loafers and a black Givenchy handbag. I paired the whole ensemble with a gray beanie hat with fur that I bought in Viareggio, Italy. Seen here with Vintage sunnies, purchased in Rome, Italy.

PAMM – Vacheron Constantin
I chaired the Perez Art Museum’s – Louis Vuitton ‘Art of the Party’ Gala’s After Party with Lydia Pinnell, Jack and Tara Benmeleh and Ginger Harris. Unfortunately (or, fortunately), I was in Paris. However, in celebrating our efforts, PAMM and Vacheron Constantin treated us all to a gorgeous lunch , and subsequently announced their formal opening in Palm Court.
What I Wore: I decided on Klein Blue. After all, I was going to a museum, so why not do Vintage Versace Yves Klein Blue palazzo pants? I draped a Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche silk top over my head, tucked it in and threw on my Roger Vivier Virgule Pumps to complete my somehow slenderizing look. With Ippolita rose gold earrings, Christian Roth eyewear and my Givenchy handbag, the look was a total hit.

1 Hotel – SK II – Miami Magazine
At the PAMM – Vacheron luncheon, I became friendly with Kristin Ducote, a blonde Southern Belle looking Esq. and author, while chatting with Dana Shear. We exchanged contact, and Ducote proceeded to invite moi to a luncheon she hosted with Miami Magazine for SK II, a sake based skincare brand. She claims that is her face’s claim to fame.
What I Wore: Miami just happened to be brutally cold, and I was feeling metallic, so I busted out the vintage Missoni, which is about three sizes too big. I took this maternity looking item, and tied it tight with a belt of the same fabric. I then decided to clash it with Caldezonia black and gold lace stockings. A fun and dizzifying look. Paired with Givenchy booties from the Webster, I also kept the lunch outfits consistent with the same Givenchy handbag. I took this outfit from lunch to dinner by pairing it with my Ann Demeulemeester coat from the SoHO House in Berlin.
I die for your loafers. And your hair looks really good…can’t believed it’s fried.org:(
