It’s 2016, and I already have 9 Brand New Discoveries in Miami Since Last Year. You’re Welcome. XO. MsErinsita
It is 2016. I kind of still, can not grasp this. I am 32. My astrologer Angelo, told me major things were happening this year. About 10 years ago, as I sat at his table on a major dose of Aderall, that is all I can recall. Go figure. Breathe.
So, the purpose of this post, you ask? Well, it is to share MsErinsita’s Miami-centric favorites that I have discovered most recently. Let’s call a spade, a spade: you may have never known had you not read it here….and consider this source legitimate, since, well, my blog is not lucrative. It is 100 percent purely honest, pure me.
I met Angelica through Carolyn Travis. At the time of intro, we kind of just had this soft spot for one another, and I need to tell you, this chic-chick has just launched her own savory destination to soothe your sweet tooth. But here is the best news of all: each desert is hand made and the Couture Cupcakes, Designer Cakes, French Macarons and Glam Cakes in the Jar are available in Gluten Free and Vegan options! According to her website (hyperlinked above), she states “All of my desserts are artfully crafted using only the finest ingredients available, such as Neilen-Massey Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Madecasse Organic Extracts, Valrhona and Scharffen Berger Fine Chocolates, King Arthur Cake Flour, Homemade Nut Flours and the freshest fruits and essences. I personally handcraft and decorate each creation to ensure the highest quality. Each dessert is made from scratch and the cupcakes are unique, moist with a delicate filling and topped with incredible frosting. A spoon is always included in our orders, you will need one!
Craving a movie, but like me, you fear sitting on those filthy, lice-bedbug seats? I am a chronic phobia driven woman when it comes to what exists within the movie theatre seat and ewe, I usually go to the extent of bringing a towel in my handbag, if you convince me to go at all. Here is your solution: iPic on 163rd street, in the Intercostal shopping center. These lush, leather seats are not the only benefit. You have a full menu of food and drinks to choose from as you watch your fantasy flick, and are served like the king-queen you are…the only downside is: its comfortability level is high, so don’t snooze…..oh, and like sports? iPic screens the games, live!
Book HERE. I just made your life a better place.

Chanel? Lady Gaga lover? Think Big. Think Small. Whatever your shady fantasy, True Vintage has your wildest dreams, and it is right in our back yard. On 8th and Washington, its worth the parking headache to discover what lies within those magical drawers….

Anetta Nowosielska and Stephane Dupoux, are not only my friends, but one of the most powerful couples in the hospitality industry. You know when a venue has superb proprietors who have a major je ne sais quoi, it’s guaranteed to be a major success. Even though this hot-spot-to-be is not yet open, and we actually were invited to join, let me fill you in on what is about to be the hottest spot on the Miami River. River Yacht Club is major in scale. The landscaping was designed by mastermind Raymond Jungles, blending in with the venues nautical design, lets just say, it is perfectly fitting, with the first ever private Van Dutch lounge for it’s members. For ladies like moi, there will be a boutique that will be very conceptual (carrying croc bags that I am always seen wearing by A. Rinkel) and as Anetta Nowosielska is the buyer, and the chef Michael Lewis came from Zuma! My mouth is watering as we speak, and truth be told, I can not wait to welcome this jewel. I think it is the only missing link to the Magic City. Even though RYC officially opens on February 17th, I will see you there on February 21st in all of my canoe glory.
Craving meat? Basically, it is build your own burger, from the bun to the meat to the toppings. Located in one of Miami’s most beautiful hotel-residences in my favorite city in the world, at the St. Regis in Bal Harbour, the food was absolutely delicious, not salty (eliminate bloat), fresh, and casual. I highly recommend checking this out for a great weekend lunch, especially if it is a beautiful day out.
You can only get it through the rep, named Zara, but take a look at this designer, who is blowing up in Miami, London, Berlin and beyond. Gomez Gracia designed under the late Alexander McQueen. Legitimacy has been created, and take a look at her look book. The prices are incomparable and the look, well lets just say, at Splendor in the Garden at Fairchild just last week, I was told by a few, that I was best dressed. Thanks Gomez Gracia. Check out the new collection. Beware. Fierceness exists within.
I needed a romantic spot to celebrate, and my best friend Kelly Gold insisted I book here. So, as she is my go-to, I followed her lead. Palmeiras is located on Grove Isle, about a ten minute drive from Brickell Avenue, and was just renovated. They opened their doors with a fresh new vibe, but that same magical view. If you forgot it existed, or need a romantic spot to impress your partner, this is brand new in my books and needed to share.
OpenTable is the only way to book.

Craving a Chanel clutch, that a lovely lady purchased, but never wore, or perhaps used just a few times? Here is your new favorite destination to discover great items and at fraction of their retail price.
I met Robin Levinson through Kristin Ducote….when we drove to Ft. Lauderdale to shop for very shiny items. Levinson’s Jewelers is one of the premier jewelry shops in the country, selling brands we all love, like Bvlgari, Franck Mueller, Pierre Kunz, and some very dreamy diamonds. Upon meeting Robin, who is completely lovely beyond belief, she showed me what may be one of the best inventions ever for women with pierced ears. So, ladies, we know how as we age, our pierced ears, may rip, and fall a bit, causing our gorgeous diamonds to look droopy. Robin invented our solution: earring backs that are designed to hold that earring right where it belongs, and in full comfort. LevEars are great for gifts, but I highly encourage you to get a pair (or two), asap.
