Last night in the heart of Miami’s Design District, the slit in my YSL gown plus the upper side visibility were not the only things in full effect. If you did not know, or perhaps were not invited, FYI: Omega threw quite a soiree, if I may say so myself. The purpose? To celebrate the opening of the brand new magnifico boutique but also, to display their historical timepieces that were specially flown in allllllll the way from Switzerland.

The true key to a proper event is music (check, DJ YSL), great food (check, Michael’s Genuine), flowing champagne (check, tasted great) and really attractive people, plus a host committee that included moi, Jenny Lopez (@lopezjennylopez) and Michel Koopman. This is the recipe to success, and last night there was certainly that guarantee of a curated group of sophisticated yet creative locals from quite different parts of the city, varied cultures and interesting industries.
